Feedback on the 2021 SP Challenge in Amiens: high standards and precision at the heart of the competition

The 5th edition of the Challenge des Sapeurs-Pompiers took place in Amiens on September 16, 17 and 18. 3 days of competition on extrication tests with the watchword performance and rescue to people.

Organized by the SDIS 80 and the UDSP80, the event received more than twenty teams from all over France to take up the challenge.

The tests, from the most standard to the most complex, are drawn by lot, the road rescue teams and the SUAP (emergency relief to people) discover the situation when they pass the test and must quickly adapt to the situation. on stage. With nearly 60,000 road accident victims each year in France, rescue teams need to constantly adapt and update their know-how and skills. This competition assesses their techniques and procedures to optimize the care of victims in a stressful situation.
